Transforming our client’s homes is something we love doing here at Orchid. We make the ordinary extraordinary and offer vision to bring a theme to life in an everyday space. This Chinese New Year party was no exception. Guests were seated at round tables to enjoy a lavish Chinese Banquet. Intricate details brought the theme to life: Origami DIY kits, escort cards placed in fortune cookies, red table linen, a large free standing gong and a bespoke Gobo projecting a double happiness sign onto the ceiling. Pussy willow and cherry blossom made for simple yet elegant flower displays. The atmospheric entrance was captured with chinese lanterns, and a still living statue who greeted guests with a wink or the slowest hand wave. As guests enjoyed their meal a traditional Chinese trio played in the background and to WOW them further a mask changing artist performed.
