Wedding TV and Sarah’s favourite venues!

Our very own founder, Sarah Balfour, was invited for an interview with Wedding TV as well as for a small segment showing us around her top 5 favourite venues in London.

The interviewer began with talking with Sarah about the role of the wedding planner, and their importance in alleviating any stress involved in the wedding planning process. Sarah then described the process that she follows after meeting a potential client. They begin with a briefing form, whereby the bride and groom explain and describe their vision to Sarah, along with any specific needs or wants they require. Sarah and her team then work relentlessly in making a design for the venue, showcasing the feel of the décor in mood boards and providing suggestions for different suppliers, be it caterers, florists, entertainment, and everything in between. This can ensure the bride and groom can begin to see their vision come to reality, and envision their big day.

Sarah also touches upon the importance of having trusted suppliers, and having been in the industry for 7 and a half years, she and her team have an extensive portfolio of trusted suppliers for all aspects of the big day. This ensures all services will be of high quality, and delivered on time, ensuring a smooth flowing wedding day.

Sarah goes on to show a wedding she is currently decorating for at the Lansdowne Club. The small wedding of 75 is set off by a beautiful white and red theme, with floating candles and rose petals in clear glass bowls providing delicate centrepieces. Sarah uses her expertise and experience to ensure the venue looks its best, and that the décor surpasses the happy couple’s expectations.

Moving on to another of her top 5 favourite venues, Sarah and Wedding TV are shown around the iconic Mandarin Oriental hotel. The Head of Events talks Sarah through some of the history of the hotel, which was in fact a private residence until the turn of the 19th and 20th century. The Mandarin Oriental also is the only hotel to still have a functioning Royal Entrance, which couples can request for their wedding. The hotel can cater for weddings for as few as 3 or 4 people, and have an award winning spa and luxurious suites, perfect for a little pre- and post-wedding indulgence.[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
